Melanie built her career in sales recruitment before founding Global Search RC in 2020, and the firm reflects it: focused, senior, and built around relationships rather than volume. A native Welsh speaker who works fluently across languages, she is at home in an industry where language and culture are the product.
She saw where the language industry was heading early — raising AI’s role in recruitment and delivery with boards well before it was common — and built the firm to hire for a market being reshaped by machine translation, speech technology and AI. She still runs searches personally, works to US hours, and is a regular presence at the industry’s conferences.
